I was at the hospital, I assume for my progressing Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, in a wheel chair. I was having fun roaming the hallways of the hospital when the staff began searching for me as if I was in trouble. I wheeled myself outside through the parking lot with my heart pounding out of my chest. It began raining heavily and I began crying, wheeling myself terrified through the water. I had arrived at a van where a young Russian gentleman I met in the hospital hugged me. He was covered in tattoos and very handsome but spoke no English. His father and mother were in the front seat of the car and his father who spoke English told me I can get in the car and go with them. I obliged and the young Russian gentlemen helped me into the car. In the back seat of the car the young man held me warm and comfortable. He kissed me and I held his hand. His mom and dad were smiling. When we arrived to their campsite where they were staying they shared food with me and me and the young man continued to hold each other almost as if we had been together for a lifetime. When I was leaving I translated to him I wanted more, that I wanted to continue to see each other. He replied he could not give that to me. He had been hurt too many times and he refused to feel that pain again.
